More about me

My name is Pernilla and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I have managed various projects in the past and am used to working with different suppliers (e.g. PR agencies, production agencies, printers, etc.), but I am no stranger to sitting down in front of a computer and being creative myself. I work mainly with Content, and manage all necessary programs for graphic and motion design (print, web, film editing). Also I have experience from various content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, EPiServer, Interwoven and more, plus I have worked a lot with Search Engine Optimization and Social Media. I express myself well in speech and in writing in Swedish and English – Swedish being my native language.

I work well both independently and in groups, with large projects or small. I have managed several major projects myself, like a new web platform for, a new Digital Signage solution for Hertz in the Nordic countries. I have managed campaigns and launched products such as Hertz Supercars in Sweden, a dog concept for Mercure Hotels and more.

During my last job I was responsible for marketing and eCommerce (Norse Hotels Scandinavia), but I have also trained assistants and trained several Nordic colleagues in different tools (mainly web and digital signage tools). My education (GI / IHR at Stockholm University) was a Project Manager and Management education, focusing on marketing / communication, which I have recently updated with a Content Marketing course at Bergh’s School of Communication.

Directly after Stockholm University I got a job at Hertz First Rent a Car as a Graphic Designer, to be promoted to an Art Director & Web Editor 3 years later. I was responsible for, seeing to it that Hertz guidelines was being followed in Sweden, the central campaigns, point of sale (to 220 rental locations across Sweden), advertisements, sale support material and I also had a big, supportive role for Hertz marketing departments in Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Last fall, after 8 years at Hertz’s department Digital Sales and Communication, I chose to accept the job as the Marketing & eCommerce Manager at Norse Hotels Scandinavia. They operated 13 hotels in Sweden – Mercure Hotels and ibis Styles. I took care of the hotels´ 13 websites, looked over the social media channels, booked and created ads, coordinated and communicated out offers and more. Unfortunately, the owners of Norse chose to cut back on staff six months later, which resulted in that I, together with half the office had to go (today Norse Hotels Scandinavia is sold).

I am very passionate about what I do and see opportunities in everything. Film, layout / images and texts in combination are something I have always ha a great interest in, but also worked with for most of my professional life.
